Kings Square Robbery

 

A supermarket in East Belfast's Kings Square was robbed, with a worker been tied up.

The robbery took place at about 8:15 on the morning of the 25th June 2007.Two men were involved in the robbery, one of whom was armed with a hammer. Both men wore dust masks. After restraining the lady shop worker's hands and feet with cable ties, they stole 'substantial' amount of cash. 

Both men are thought to be from the Belfast area, having Belfast accents. One robber is described as about 5ft 8ins tall, about 20 to 25 years old and wearing a fluorescent jacket, dust mask and monkey hat. The other robber is described as about 18 years old of thin build and was wearing a fluorescent bib, dust mask and beany hat.

Police have appealed for the public's help.
